I recently came across an issue in my SCCM configuration where I was unable to add a driver to the boot image. The Drivers tab among others were missing.

My system is based on System Center Configuration Manager v1910.
I am deploying Windows 10 LTSC 2019 v1809.

The Issue

After a nights’ research I gave up and tried again the next day. Below are the steps that I took to resolve the problem –

Resolution –

1. Open Control Panel on your SCCM server and check the ADK versions against the Boot Image version. Below are the versions I had installed:

As you can see, compared to the boot image version above, they don’t match. The Windows 10 ADK I had installed was the wrong version.

2. To resolve, you will need to download the correct ADK version for the version of Windows you are deploying.

After uninstalling the old version and reinstalling the correct my issue was resolved. Remember to reboot between uninstall and install.
