As part of the System Center upgrade to version 2103 I updated the ADK version on my Site Server. This was upgrading from v10.0.17763.1 to v10.0.19041.0. Below I outline the steps that I took to do this.

1. Navigate to the Windows Control Panel on your Site Server.

You will see that on my Server the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit for Windows 10 (ADK) and PE add-on version is currently 10.0.17763.1. From here you want to uninstall each one starting with the Windows ADK then the PE add-on.

Once both have been uninstalled, I normally reboot the server to clean up.

2. Begin installation of new ADK software.

Below I have ran the installer for Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit version 10.0.19041.0.

Click Install, I normally leave the settings as default.

Installation will now begin and could take some time.

The version (10.0.19041.0) of the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit has now been installed.

3. Next we begin to install the PE add-on for Windows 10.

The version (10.0.19041.0) of the Windows 10 PE add-on has now been installed.

4. Finally we need to update the boot images within SCCM.

Go to Software Library > Operating Systems > Boot Images.

Right click on your boot images and click Update Distribution Points.

Tick Reload this boot image with the current Windows PE version from the Windows ADK.
Click Next.

Click Next.

The boot images will now update and complete.

You will need to update both the x64 & x86 boot images.

We have now installed the latest ADK (At the time) for SCCM version 2103.
